A package of fine Piedmont IGP hazelnuts, rigorously “Made in Cuneo”, will be delivered as a gift to all travelers on the first flight arriving from Munich which will land at Levaldigi airport today, Monday 28 June. This is the initiative promoted by the Cascine Piemontesi consortium and by Confagricoltura Cuneo, in collaboration with the ATL del Cuneese, to help celebrate an important stage for the Cuneo port and promote one of the symbolic products of local agriculture.
“It is a small but symbolic welcome gesture with which we decided to welcome the first travelers arriving from Germany – explain Cascine Piemontesi -. A taste of shelled and toasted hazelnuts typical of our province, where this crop, which has always been present in recent years, has seen an important development accompanied by increasing attention to the environmental sustainability of cultivation practices. The Cuneo agricultural world looks very carefully at this section, which not only connects our territory directly with one of our most important commercial partners, but also opens up wider interconnections with the whole world, to the advantage of Cuneo’s agri-food exports ” .
