Levaldigi (CN), Sept. 26, 2024<\/em> – Cuneo Airport is proud to announce the creation of a vineyard, a project that celebrates the link with the rich local wine heritage. Through this initiative, which symbolizes the winemaking traditions of the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato, the aim is to offer passengers an immediate visual and emotional contact with one of the territory’s excellences. For this reason, a small vineyard was planted, reflecting this deep connection and offering a first taste of the extraordinary local winemaking tradition, thus allowing the identity and values of Cuneo Airport to be told from the first step outside the air terminal.<\/p>\n The realization of the project was possible thanks to the valuable collaboration of local partners. \nPlanted in April 2024, the vineyard consists of four rows of Pinot Kors grapes, extending over an area of 200 square meters: three rows at the entrance to the air terminal and one near the terminal. <\/p>\n
\nAirport hospitality goes beyond the simple comfort of travelers and extends to the ability to convey the soul of a place. <\/p>\n
\nThe Ferro winery, a leader in the wine industry, provided the rootstocks, while the vineyard care is entrusted to Eccomi.
\nDavide Rosso, of Giovanni Rosso Winery, is the “godfather” of this project. <\/p>\n
